Low-Cost Showreel Scenes

Starting in October 2026, we’re switching things around, and offering you the chance to just book a slot and show up. We’ve booked the venue already. We’ll give you a choice of scripts. We’ll pair you up with another client, and we can of course customise things, up to and including writing whole new scenes.

The shoots will take place at Anomalous Space, near Angel, Islington. Get in touch, and we can set up a call to discuss what you might be interested in doing.

The cost is £350 for two scenes, including all costs, less than half the cost of our standard bespoke service.

How it Works

The day is normally split into four two-hour time periods: e.g. 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1:30pm-3:30pm, 3:30pm-5pm. We film one scene in each period. The first two slots are in one room. The afternoon slots are in another.

There will be up to four actors on the day, and you’ll be paired up for your two different scenes, one in each room. So you might be with one actor doing a drama scene from 9am, and with another actor doing a comedy scene in the other room at 1:30pm. We’ll run the day with two, three or four actors, so if it’s two you’ll have more time, but both your scenes will be with the same person.

We can have a chat on the phone or by email to discuss your age, look, casting type and the kind of scenes you’re interested in doing, e.g drama, thriller or comedy. Depending on the other actors’ requirements we’ll try to pair you up in a way that satisfies everyone as best as possible. We have a library of scripts, and if one doesn’t quite fit, we can write a scene to order.

The bookings will be finalised a week before the shoot date, you’ll be introduced to your scene partners. You’re welcome to organise a rehearsal (e.g. over Zoom) with each other independently. We can also rehearse with you for a small extra charge.

When you’re ready to sign up, we’ll send you a bill for a £100 deposit.

After filming, you’ll get a draft of the scenes sent to you to download, usually with two weeks. You can request a round of edits, and when you’re happy with the results, you pay the full amount and receive the files.

In the event a shoot is cancelled you will be offered the opportunity to have your deposit refunded or to move your booking to another date.
