I can wholeheartedly recommend working with Dave. I was so happy to find someone who truly listened to my ideas and brought them to life in such a strong and thoughtful way. He organized everything seamlessly, from casting great scene partners to keeping the whole process running smoothly, while also being very understanding of my own scheduling challenges. On set, the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and collaborative, and I felt I could both learn and grow through the experience. In the end, my agency was genuinely impressed with the material we created, and I’m confident it will give my career a real boost.

I really recommend working with Dave for your showreels. He was very organised and so helpful during filming, making the time fun as well as productive.

After approaching Dave after watching some of his work on his website, Dave made the process of creating two scenes that I had in my head come to life. He was open to my ideas and threw some ideas of his own in there too. If this is your first showreel or just wanting a refresher I highly highly recommend using Showreels from Scratch.

Working with Dave was everything I wanted. The biggest plus for me was the constant dialogue – from original concept, through the writing, during the shoot & the edit afterwards. On shoot he gave useful & provoking direction. Being an active filmmaker means the work Dave does is in line with the current style/trends, which helps for casting. Would recommend to anyone.

Working with Dave was an absolute pleasure from the outset… An extremely professional yet relaxed approach, always felt well looked after and supported from an actor’s viewpoint. I highly recommend Showreels from Scratch to give a smooth and stress free experience from beginning to end.

From step one Dave approached my showreel with professionalism and dedication. His organisation on the day was spot on and gave me great support from an acting perspective once filming. I would highly recommend and have done!

I had a brilliant time working with Dave and his team. He is an insightful and honest director with a brilliant sense of humour.

Dave and the entire team were so organised and professional. They knew the script inside out and had worked out exactly what type of shots they wanted to get for each scene. Highly recommended if you want a smooth & well executed production – thanks Dave!

Working with Dave and his team was a pleasure from start to finish. Not only does he make you feel relaxed and comfortable, but he is an intelligent and sensitive director, which really helps to produce the best quality work.
